How to Measure

To find your perfect size, grab a shirt you already love the fit of, a measuring tape, and a flat surface. Follow these simple steps to measure it, then compare your results to our size chart.

Bust/Chest: Lay the shirt flat and measure across the chest, from armpit to armpit, about 1 inch below the armhole. Double this measurement to get the full chest circumference. Tip: Smooth out any wrinkles for accuracy.

Shoulder: Measure across the back of the shirt from one shoulder seam to the other, where the seams meet the sleeves.

Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (near the collar) straight down to the hem of the shirt.

Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder seam (where the sleeve attaches to the body) down to the end of the sleeve cuff.

Understanding Ease: Don’t worry if the measurements on our size chart are a bit larger than your favorite shirt’s—that’s intentional! Clothing is designed with positive ease, meaning the garment measurements are a few inches bigger than the body for comfort and movement. For instance, if your shirt’s chest measures 38 inches (96 cm) and our size chart shows 40.9 inches (104 cm) for your size, that extra 2.9 inches is positive ease to ensure a comfortable fit. Note that in larger sizes (2XL to 5XL), this shirt fits closer to the body, so you might prefer to size up for more room.
